How to get quality backlinks to your blog and improve your search rankings

In order to boost your Search engines results, you need to get quality backlinks from sites with high domain authority and getting quality backlinks is one of the few most effective ways to boost your blog rankings.

Gone are the days when sites are ranked based on meta keywords. Getting backlinks from these high domain authority sites means, google wants to know how good or proffessional enough your site is that these authority sites will link back to you. Its a form of attestation, because your site showing up on the first page of search results must be good enough to represent the quality

of information google gives to its users. So if your site is not good enough, there is no place for you in the first 5 pages of search results, you must work on your site's design, navigation and most importantly contents.

Having done all that, let's take a look at some high authority sites to get quality backlinks to boost your rankings.

1. Deviantart

This is a site with 92 DA (dormain authority). This site is where you submit artworks, but don't worry if your blog is not about artworks.

Just look for a good infographic and add your link to the image description and submit to them.

2. Create a presentation with lissuu

This site has a DA of 95. What you have to do is create a presentation of atleast 3-4 pages and add an image and your link at the end, then submit to lissuu.

3. Bitbucket

If you are good in coding, you can create a coding project and add your site link in the project description. Bitbucket has a DA of 85

4. Dropshots

This is a photo sharing site with DA of 50.

To get backlinks from Dropshots, signup with them and upload a quality image and add your link in the description.

5. Imfaceplate

I personally use this site to get backlinks.

They have a DA of 35. What you need to do to get backlinks from them is to visit their site and create a profile. Then write an article of about 300-500 words then include your link at the end.
