How to remove Author name on blogger

When you publish post on blogger, it displays Author name at default. This author name can be the name you used on your google account (Gmail). And perhaps you don't want to use this particular name on your blogger posts.
Am going to show you how you can remove the default Author name and add your preffered name to your posts. Follow the below steps

Step 1
Login to your blogger dashboard
Step 2
Click Theme/Template
Step 3
Click “Edit HTML”

Step 4 

        Now search for ''<data:post.author/>''. Remove the quote 

Step 5
Now delete all of the from your template. There are 4-5 of them, althogh it may vary in your template.

Step 6
Now search for “Posted by” without the quotes. Edit the “Posted by” text to your preffered name.
Example “Posted by yourname” or you can choose to use “By yourname”.

Step 7
When you are done editing your name, Save Template.
