How to Add your Blog to Free Basics

Free Basics is a service that provides free internet for users to browse websites that are registered in its database. Free Basics is brought by internet.org in partnership with Facebook. In this tutorial, I will show you how to register your blog to Free Basics. But first you must make sure your site is mobile friendly and well designed in order to meet the criteria for your blog to be accepted.

How to Register your Blog to Free Basics

* Launch your browser and login to your Facebook Account.

* Visit the Free BasicsSubmittion Page

* Fill in your details to the Form provided. The details includes Your Name, Business Name, Your Email address linked with Facebook,Phone Number and Country of Residence.

* Now Fill in your Blog details. The details includes The Blog Name, Blog URL, Blog Category, Blog Banner etc.

* Add the URL to your Blog and test for Mobile Friendliness

* Finally tick the button beside “I have tested this URL with the device simulator and verify that it functions and appears correctly” and click Okay

That's not all

* Now Fill in details of your Blog Name,  Blog Logo and thumbnail, brief description of your Blog, and an optional long description of your Blog.

* Tick on the Acknowledgement button to agree to their terms and conditions.

* Finally submit your application.

Your application will take a few days to be reviewed after which when approved, your Blog will then be added to Free Basics.
