Without SEO, you don't get visitors from search engines. It is relevant to start SEO from day one, although it is difficult to outrank the sites that have started seo years ahead of you. But if you want your website or blog to rank high, you should keep adding to your blog and improving it.

1. Choose a unique keyword to focus on

This is a very important aspect in seo if you want to rank high. First you have to select the search term you want your post to show up for, you must first find out the exact keywords people are actually searching for. For example if you want to write about Girls Handbags, you should find out what people are searching for girls handbag.

2. Put the unique keywords in your page title

After you have found out the search keywords for “Girls Handbag”, now use those keywords as your page title. It doesn't mean that your title must be the exact keywords, but you should make it attractive so that people will be attracted to click on it.

3. Put the keywords in the description tag

4. Write Quality Posts

Quality post is what will make your visitors come back for more which is more visits for your website. Some people say content is the main thing, that's true but seo is as much important. Because without seo, your quality posts won't get the desired audience you want to impact your knowledge on. You must take time to make a lot of research for your posts. 5. Add the Keyword to the Url of your post

This is a great way to improve your seo search traffic. After creating your post, go to “Permerlink” under “Post Settings” and add the keyword to your url and click “done”.

6. Internal linking

Adding internal links in your site will improve your search traffic. If your new post has a keyword that you have posted before, go back to that post and copy the url and link it to the keyword. It is important for your best topics to be linked internally to other posts. Another example of internal linking are Breadcrumb navigation, page number navigation, related posts, featured posts. Etc.

7. Backlinks

Backlinks are your links on other sites that link back to your site. For example, you comment on forums and you add your site's url there and visitors on that forums clicks on it and visits your page. Or you created a post on forum sites and add your url at the end of the post and people visits your site from that forum, that's backlink. Google takes a look at backlinks to determine how good a post is. And getting backlinks from top sites can skyrocket your search engine results.
